February 29, 2012

When I originally started this blog, I sent the link out to a few people.  One of them was my brother.  He almost immediately sent me back an email telling me that the title of my blog was wrong and that it should have been called, "Kelsey366" since it was a leap year.  A few days later he asked if I had checked to see if Kelsey366 had been taken.  This is what I found.

And to not disappoint anyone, here is today's picture of Bryce.

He obviously has no idea what is about to come. This is how he looked just before his first doctors appointment.

Is anyone tired of pictures of Bryce yet?  I'm not.  Here is today's installment of the cutest baby on the planet.

Today Bryce opened his first pack of baseball cards.  In his first pack, he pulled a pretty rare card.

I wish I remembered what sleep was like.  This is us just before we headed home from the hospital today.

Yup no Tadpole yet.

Sometimes the dog doesn't move when you take your socks off and throw them at her.

February 15, 2012

Still no Tadpole. If he/she ever gets here I can't wait to take them to their first baseball game.

Still no Tadpole. Comet spent the day alternating between watching snow plows drive by and snuggling up next to Sarah.

February 12, 2012

Today was the day that I was hoping Tadpole would arrive.  It doesn't look like that is going to happen.  It would have been a really cool birthday, 2-12-12 and they would have shared it with Abraham Lincoln.  Tadpole didn't arrive for our lack of trying.  Mexican and Taco Pizza yesterday, a long walk today at the flower show but still no Tadpole.  At least for the next few days the birthday will be the same forward and backward.  Today's picture is of a red hawk that was at the flower show today.

February 11, 2012

I spent some time tonight scanning some old slides my dad took. This is the slide scanner I'm using.

I couldn't resist taking this picture at Walgreen tonight. On a side note they are the only place around that sells pacifiers that are scientifically engineered to close up when they are dropped so the sucky part doesn't get dirty. Brilliant.

Tonight the dog climbed up in the chair and somehow managed to snuggle in behind the pillow.

February 4, 2012

I found this today in a box of old pictures I was scanning. I thought it was pretty cool considering tadpoles arrival coming soon.

February 5, 2012

You would think that I would have some type of Super Bowl related picture to post today, but I don't.  I spent a part of today scanning a box of old pictures.  There was literally a span of almost (maybe more) than 100 years in the pictures.  There were a lot of me and my brother.  Pictures of my grandpa giving a haircut (don't worry Mom, I will get it on Flickr soon), assorted weddings, family gatherings, and even a funeral.  Buried in the box were about 5 really old tin-type pictures and two other really old pictures.  Here are my favorites.

This picture hangs in Sarah's doctors office. I think Apollo would make a cool name. Sarah disagrees.

Today I took Comet to school to help some of my kids work on their feature stories. She did great and loved working with the kids but she is completely zonked out tonight.
