Sarah and I occasionally buy a box of baseball cards. Last year we got a brand called Goodwin Champions. It is an odd set with a lot of players from other sports as well as celebrities. In last years box we got a Lebron James autographed card. These are from a box this year. We got one autograph and two cards with a piece of game used jersey in them. Upon further inspection the middle card is of Steve Wozniak. It contains a piece of a disk he once used. The nerd in me loves this card.

6 months ago today (almost right now as I post this) Bryce Logan Kelsey was born.  He is starting to eat bananas (he likes real ones mashed up more than fake ones), on the verge of crawling and saying mama and dada, and he smiles and giggles all the time.  Here are a couple 6 month old pictures.

Tonight a car size rover is going to land on Mars. Yes, I am setting an alarm to get up and watch. Tonight I got an invitation on Google Plus from Kobie Boykins for the landing. Kobie is one of the lead engineers on the rover. I worked with him two summers ago with the JASON Project at the Jet Propulsion Lab in California. I can't wait to see if I can spot him tonight.
