I got up early this morning, cut a hole in a giant pumpkin and stuck my son inside.  This is a little bit of a preview of the picture I'm going to post on Halloween.

Today one of my students interviewed Dean Pitchford.  He is best known for writing the movie and a lot of the music for Footloose.  He was amazing to talk with.  As we got ready to start the interview he says, "Hold on, let me check the framing.  You know, this looks a little boring behind me.  Let me grab something to put back there."  He walks out of frame and a few seconds later he walks back in carrying his Academy Award.  It was really cool.  This is the set up we had for the interview.  We had 3 cameras running and I was recording the interview on my laptop.
