Tonight, I went out to attempt to take a picture of Jupiter near the moon. They will be really close the next couple of nights. Tomorrow night, the moon will be just above Jupiter. From my deck, there was a tree that was obstructing my view. You could see both and I thought it might be a cool shot but I soon figured out that to get any detail on the moon, you had to take a fairly quick picture (fast shutter speed). When you did that, you couldn't see any of the tree limbs. So I went with plan B. I intentionally didn't focus on the moon, instead I focused on the tree limbs.
